FYF present Keeley with a bike
In April 2015, FYF founder Corinne Hutton presented six-year old amputee Keeley Cerretti with a specially modified bike at The Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome. Brave Keeley Cerretti of Larkhall, South Lanarkshire, had her lower leg amputated following an infection in her bowel shortly after birth. This never stopped the feisty six-year old from keeping up with twin sister, Kerrin. However, when it was time for the twins to try cycling without stabilisers, Keeley’s prosthetic leg proved problematic as it persistently slipped from the pedal. Finding Your Feet heard of Keeley’s plight and stepped in to buy her a specially modified bike – and where better to present her bike than at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome at The Emirates Arena in Glasgow.
Cor and Keeley made it onto the STV News – watch the video on Finding Your Feet TV.
